YOOFEE
Moses Yoofee Vester, born on January 22, 1999, in Berlin, is a versatile and accomplished musician specializing in jazz and contemporary music. His musical journey began at the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Gymnasium, where he studied as a young student.
In 2019, Moses continued his studies at the Jazzinstitut Berlin (JIB), deepening his understanding of jazz performance and composition. He has participated in a number of prestigious masterclasses and programs, including the 5-Week Program at Berklee College of Music in Boston (2015 & 2016), the Barry Harris Masterclass in Rome, and the European Jazz Academy alongside Jiggs Whigham, Ack van Rooyen, and Florian Weber.
As a producer and composer, Moses has released multiple EPs and singles that showcase his distinctive and wide-ranging musical style. Beyond his solo work, he has collaborated with artists such as Daniel Caesar, Marteria, OG Keemo, Wesley Joseph, Keinemusik, and Charlie Brix. He also served as pianist and musical director for Peter Fox.
Since 2022, Moses has been one of three members of the Moses Yoofee Trio. In 2025, the group performed at renowned venues and festivals including Blue Note New York, the Newport Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Cotton Club Tokyo, and the Jazz Café London.
